I have no doubt that the President is sincere in believing that his strategy is the right one. But escalation has already been tried and it has already failed, because no amount of American forces can solve the political differences that lie at the heart of somebody else's civil war."
Let's pencil him in as against continuation of the war. The most interesting development though for me is not that he's anti-war (we knew that), but that he's a cool guy. Watch him on Conan O'Brien and tell me he shouldn't be leader of the free world.
